FACULTY

EDMUND & CAROL BOUSCHOR
Edmund and Carol both received their Master’s of Education from Portland State University in 1972 and 1974 respectively, and are the founders and directors of the Language and Culture Institute in Oregon (LCIO). They have a passion and vision to teach people from many different nations the English language, as well as the Bible. Through LCIO, they have been able to help many students, once very limited in the English language, to go on from there to universities, colleges, and various business endeavors. They are members of City Bible Church, and are actively involved in helping those around them. Along with their staff at LCIO, Edmund and Carol have assumed responsibilities for the ESL program of PBC.

BRIAN DAEHN
Brian is a native of Canada and was immersed in the business world when God’s hand intervened powerfully in his life. He later settled in Portland, Oregon where he met his wife Brenda who served as children’s ministry coordinator for many years at Bible Temple. After graduating from PBC, Brian continued his education at Western Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. Following a year as Academic Dean of Harvest International Bible College in Tampa Florida, Brian and his family returned to PBC where he is a full time instructor. Brian is known for his prophetic gift and both he and his wife have traveled to numerous nations around the world, ministering in Leadership/Prophetic conferences, seminars, and equipping the Body of Christ through a strong combination of prophetic and teaching ministries. Brian is an accomplished musician on the trumpet and occasionally plays in PBC chapels.

SHARON DAMAZIO
Sharon was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia where she grew up in a Christian home and attended a church where worship and music were a major focus. She began playing the piano for youth worship when she was 15. Sharon attended PBC for three semesters. This is where she met and married Frank Damazio. She has had extensive pastoral and worship ministry experience, serving with her husband both in their Eugene church and at City Bible Church. Her musical experience includes worship leading, songwriting, piano, choir, drama and a variety of other vocal experiences. She is currently the Worship Pastor of City Bible Church. She teaches several classes in the PBC School of Worship and is passionate about seeing the generations engage in authentic and wholehearted worship to our awesome God.

MARC DANIELS
If there is one word that could be used to describe Mark, it would probably be 'sparkplug'. He is passionate about a few things (like baseball), but it's his passion for people that folks are drawn to. Mark has a Bachelor's degree from George Fox in Psychology and is also a District Pastor at CBC. He uses what he's learned to teach Introduction to Counseling at PBC.

MARC ESTES
Halfway into a conversation with Marc Estes, one thing becomes apparent: this guy walks the walk. His challenging and often captivating homilies on evangelism and ministry aren't merely jingles; they have defined him as a man and minister. Students have come to admire and respect him for his authenticity and example of cultural influence. Marc is an executive pastor at City Bible Church and teaches Personal Evangelism and Pastoral Ministry classes at PBC.


LANNY HUBBARD
Lanny was raised in the Evangelical United Brethren Church and later attended the Foursquare Church during his college years. After a three year military duty he entered PBC completing his studies and graduating in 1979 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Lanny went on to complete a Master of Arts Degree in Exegetical Theology at Western Seminary. He has functioned as a teacher at the college since 1978 and also as an elder at City Bible Church since 1983.

Joanne has a BA in education with graduate credits towards a master’s degree in education. Over the years she has taught a variety of ages and courses, from first grade to college level, both private and public. She has taught English, Algebra, and at one time Christian Education of Children at PBC. Currently she is the administrator of the Church Leadership Training Institute (CLTI) of PBC and is teaching part-time in the college. She and her husband, Lanny, have been elders at City Bible Church for 23 years.

ROBERT JAMESON
Robert graduated from Portland Bible College in 1985 and is presently an Executive Pastor at City Bible Church. Robert has a passion to help students develop a firm foundation for their lives and ministries to be built upon. He currently teaches Church Administration, along with Personal Finance and The Book of Acts. Robert is married to Donna and they have four children who are all involved in City Bible Church.


ALAN KNAPP
Alan is a graduate from Full Sail Recording and is a member of AES (Audio Engineering Society) and has a passion to help students develop a good understanding of sound techniques & building strong A/V and worship teams. He is the A/V Media Director at City Bible & at present oversees the Sound Reinforcement classes.

DOUG & DONNA LASIT
Doug Lasit serves as the Director of Generation Ministries at City Bible Church. Having graduated from Portland Bible College in 1995 he joined the staff of City Bible Church as the youth pastor. Under Doug, and his wife Donna’s leadership, Generation Church has grown to serve over 800 junior high, high school and college students at three locations throughout the Portland area. Doug also serves as the Director of Generation Unleashed, an annual Generation Conference serving over 6000 students.

Donna currently serves with her husband, Doug, as the director of Generation Ministries. Donna also serves as a worship pastor at City Bible Church. Born on the mission-field in Uganda, Donna began leading worship and composing songs at the age of thirteen. Now as one of the Northwest’s prominent worship leaders and speakers, she has brought a fresh new sound of worship that takes us closer to the heart of God .

WAYNE LITTLE
Wayne Little is an independent consultant and owner of Lit Data Solutions, based in Portland, Oregon. Through a career of almost 30 years, he has worked in many roles including analysis and design, programming, data architecture, data base administration, system management, consulting and education. He and his wife are also enjoying the continuing challenge of parenting their two post-teen young adults. He has an eclectic set of interests which include chess, tennis and philosophy.

Wayne was radically saved in 1979 out of a religious cult led by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. Through reading and re-reading the Bible numerous times in the first few months following his conversion, Wayne was "de-programmed" by the power of the word, able to sort out from the Word, what was Truth and what were lies (note all cults have a little truth, and a lot of lies). Since then, Wayne has had a personal and deep appreciation of the power of the Word as well as a passion to help others be grounded in the most reasonable Faith of all - Christianity, the one True Way. Wayne has a deep appreciation and personal compassion for those snared by other philosophies and from his experience and study brings a great enthusiasm to teaching "Faith and Reason" at PBC

JACK LOUMAN
Jack Louman is one of two executive pastors of City Bible Church under the Senior Pastor, Frank Damazio. He graduated from Lewis and Clark with a BA in Science in 1971 and in 1975 he graduated from PBC with a BA in Theology. He served as the director of the Pastoral Department from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, he served as the Church Administrator from 1983 to 1993. Jack travels nationally and internationally ministering to local churches using his pastoral, administrative and prophetic gifting to strengthen and establish the body of Christ. In 1980, he helped to found the Oregon Family Council and Political Action Committee and currently serves on their board.

He is married to Elizabeth Louman, and they have two children. His son is Jack Jr. who works as a Project Development Assistant in Boise, ID. His daughter Julianne is currently attending Portland Bible College .

PONCHO LOWDER
Pastor Poncho teaches part time at PBC along with his responsibilities of overseeing the Generation Ministries Vancouver Campus. He has a passion to preach and teach the word of God, and finds great joy in seeing young people released into the gifting and calling of God for their life, and currently teaches the Prison Epistles class. Poncho served as the Student Body President and received his Bachelors degree from Portland Bible College in 2003.

BOB MACGREGOR
Bob MacGregor, along with his wife Sue, is the Senior Pastor of City Harvest Church in Vancouver, Washington. City Harvest Church is a church plant of City Bible Church in Portland, OR. The church started in September of 1997 and has grown to 1200 members is less than 10 years. Bob has a great burden to see the Church become what Jesus purposed it to be in reaching the lives of many and significantly impacting the world. Bob is known for his Prophetic gifting and has been used by God in the gift of Prophecy and Words of Knowledge. Bob and Sue have 4 daughters and have lived in Vancouver for 24 years. Bob also serves on the Apostolic Leadership Team of Ministers Fellowship International and devotes time from his pastoral schedule to strengthen fellow Pastors in the U.S. and around the world. Bob graduated from Central Washington State College with a B.A. in Special Education and has over 20 years of experience in the field of education.

WALTER MADISON
Wisdom, they say, comes in shades of gray. But get a load of the grayish coiffure on that guy who’s barely scraping 40! Now there’s someone with wisdom beyond his years. A seasoned teacher and skilled pastor, Walter Madison teaches Pastoral Ministry at PBC and serves as Director of Specialized Ministries at City Bible Church. He and his wife, Robyn, have three kids and make their home on Portland’s Westside where they take a key leadership role at CBC's 217 campus.

JEFF MEARS
Jeff grew up in a minister’s home. He has had over 8 years of involvement in overseeing and administering a worship department. He also has had several years overseeing youth ministry in his church. He has spoken at youth conferences and summer camps. He has also been involved in discipleship classes for youth. For one and a half years Jeff traveled the drama presentation “Eternity”. He coordinated the set up and direction of many performances, as well as working with the pastors of the various locations in leading the new convert follow-up.

TIM NASHIF
Tim Nashif is currently the CEO of Gateway Communications Inc. and the Hoffman Research Group located in Portland, Oregon. Gateway Communications specializes in Printing, Direct mail, Direct Mail Marketing, Corporate and Political Research and Phone Services. He is an Ordained Minister with City Bible Church in Portland Oregon. He and his wife Valerie have been married for 32 years. They have three children.

Tim has also been the Political Director of the Oregon Family Council for over 20 years. The Oregon Family Council is a Christian Grassroots Organization that provides registration, voter information and education to Churches and Christians throughout the state of Oregon. He is a past Chairman of the Republican Party in the Portland area. A capacity he served in for six years. Tim also served as a Delegate to the National Convention in both Philadelphia and New York. Tim has a reputation as one of the top Republican Political strategists in Oregon. Consulting with state house and senate races as well as statewide candidates and issues. He was one of the key leaders and strategists in the Defense of Marriage Coalition, the committee that passed a 2004 Constitutional Amendment protecting marriage in Oregon.

ASIM TRENT
Asim and his wife, Lisa, are the Associate Youth Pastors who oversee the West Campus Generation Ministries at City Bible Church. Asim and Lisa are dedicated to disciple and pastor youth to be a powerful influence in today’s culture.

BOB & SHARON WAGAR
Bob & Sharon serve as elders at City Bible Church. Bob served as the Dean of Students at PBC from 1986 to 1993 and currently oversees the World Outreach department at City Bible Church. Sharon currently serves as the pastor of Ethnic Ministries serving over a dozen different ethnic groups.



MIKE WHITE
Michael P. White is President of Gateway Communications Inc. Gateway specializes in direct mail communications and consulting. In addition, Mike and his firm have over 20 years experience in helping pro-family candidates run for public office. Mike is also Executive Director of the Oregon Family Council, a pro-family public policy organization that publishes a Christian Voter’s Guide that is distributed in over 1,800 Oregon churches. Mike also has over 25 years involvement as a leader of Oregon Right to Life. Mike received his Bible education at Portland Bible College.




STAFF

PHYLLIS BROWN
Registrar
Phyllis originates from Longview, Washington. As a young woman, she moved to Portland to attend college and has lived here ever since. Shortly after becoming a member of City Bible Church (1979) she was hired in accounts receivable. After serving the church faithfully for eight years, Phyllis was asked to become the first Secretary of the Ministers’ Fellowship International (1987), serving in that position for five years. During the summer of 1992 she became the Registrar of PBC and has served faithfully as Registrar for over fifteen years. She is also involved in the women’s counseling and mentoring program at the college. Phyllis brings to PBC her many years of experience and proven expertise.

REBEKAH KAYLOR
International Student Advisor
Growing up in Japan, Rebekah became passionate about the nations from an early age. That passion is evident as she works to assist international students who desire to come to Portland Bible College. Her position here at PBC as the International Student Advisor, involves caring for the international student body both administratively and pastorally as she helps spearhead many international student activities on campus.

JEREMY KOEPKE
Music Coordinator
Jeremy is the Music Director of Portland Bible College and a graduate of Portland Bible College with a Bachelor of Church Music, and serves with the Worship & Creative Arts team at City Bible Church. His passion is to see God made known around the world through the expression of worship, music & the arts. He teaches many of the music classes, including Instrumental Survey, Guitar I and II and also Songwriting. Jeremy, his wife Lori and their beautiful baby girl Sophie attend City Bible Church.

CARLOS MARIN
Administrator
Carlos Marin, along with his beautiful wife and two daughters, joined City Bible Church in 2005. Since then, Carlos' outstanding leadership skills have been appreciated in City Bible Church as the Human Resource Administrator, as well as in Portland Bible College as the School Administrator. He and his wife are also leaders in the CBC Spanish Ministry. Carlos brings an excellent blend of educational, ministerial, and work experience to Portland Bible College. His educational background includes a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and an MBA from George Fox University. Ministerial experiences encompass a wide variety of positions: Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, International Hispanic Youth Overseer for Victory Outreach International, and Associate Pastor at Comunidad Cristiana Nueva Esperazna in Los Angeles, CA. He worked as the Director of Legal Services for Hopes Gift International and has been working for Higher Education Administration for the last seven years at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management and George Fox University.

RICH & ANGELA MILLER
Dean of Students
Rich, and his wife Angela, have been part of the City Bible Church youth ministry for over 25 years. Rich grew up in Dillon, Colorado and moved to Portland when he was 12 years old. Angela was born and raised in Portland and began attending City Bible Church in 1973. They attended high school together in the early eighties and were married in 1986. Rich attended PBC in the mid 80’s. They then volunteered in the young adults group before joining the Generation Ministries youth staff in the spring of 1998.

Rich serves as the Dean of Students at PBC and together they focus on pastoring students. They have a passion to counsel, mentor, and disciple young people as they grow through their life situations. Because of all this, they play a vital role in producing permanent change in the lives of today’s young people.

SARAH SANCHEZ
Receptionist
Sarah was born and raised in City Bible Church. She attended Portland Bible College after graduating from City Christian School. Her time at PBC was a time of growth, not only in her knowledge of God, but in her Faith in Him. Throughout the years Sarah has been heavily involved in Children’s Ministry for nearly 11 years. Because of her hard work and determination she has left her mark on that department. Sarah was then hired on as a staff member of Portland Bible College. She loved her time at PBC as a student and she is very excited to be a part of PBC once again.
