From its humble beginnings in 1969 under the founding leadership of Pastor Dick Iverson, Portland Bible College has sought to achieve two objectives: Champion the cause of the local church, recognizing that the church is God’s instrument on earth to extend His Kingdom and bring hope and transformation in every human being. Secondly, to raise up leaders fully equipped with an understanding of scripture and a vibrant relationship with Jesus so they can impact and influence their world - be it in the church, business, the political arena, the classroom or wherever God takes them."
